My Safari Holiday in Uganda

Being a computer programmer, a database developer or Website Designer doesnt mean that i shouldn't have a Safari holiday off especially in Uganda.. I usually have my a month off every year and this time i went to a Safari Tour in Uganda (Western Uganda). This tour was mainly intended for just travelling around western uganda without necesary going for a gorilla trekking or a gorilla safari. They are many uganda tour companies that offer safaris to Uganda but this time i decided to it on my own.

I boarded Kalita bus from Kampala to Fort Portal. On the way i had to enjoy the wonders of Uganda and you happened to see beautiful landscapes that i presume you will not see anywhere elese. I slept in Tooro Resort as it is a cool place to stay. In the morning i had to board for Queen Elizabeth National Park. From here i realised that i would have been far better for me if i had gone with a Uganda Safari Company as i had to problems entering into the park until i called a friend from mamaland safaris to rescue me.

The moment i entered Queen Elizabeth National Park, i enjoyed every thing i saw. The park is blessed with a variety of species ranging from to Elephants to Birds. At some point we had to wait for a while as an Elephant could not go away from the road. Birdwacthing is one of the most interesting activity to do while on a Safari to Uganda.

After an eveing game drive which i started very late because i had problems enrting the park.I went to mweya for a sleep. In Mweya you have to part away with atleast 120 USD per night (Full Board)... to be continued
